AJ Yetter, MA, LPC, NCC, CTTP, CCFP
AJ is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She holds a Master Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University’s CACREP accredited program with a master’s level addiction certification. AJ is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP), and retains high level training in traumatic stress and restorative practices. She is experienced with depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, complex post traumatic stress, generational trauma, family systems, adhd, autism, self injurious behaviors, and a wide variety of mental health competencies.
AJ has provided counseling interventions to high risk families and has also provided trauma counseling for victims covered under the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) program in PA. She has experience working with individuals ranging from 5 to 75 years of age who have victimization such as: childhood sexual abuse, rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, emotional abuse, neglect, kidnapping, bullying, witnessing violence, etc.
AJ has been a lead presenter at Jefferson’s Annual Conference in 2019 & 2022 and has provided trauma focused training to school districts, community based organizations, and professionals in the trauma field. She has also worked with clinicians with burnout, secondary post-traumatic stress, and vicarious trauma. She is a lifelong DEI learner and is an ally to LGBTQ+, AAPI, BIPOC and Latinx communities.
